Abstract Introduction In a regional centre for plastic surgery, it had been noted that operations were being delayed due to lack of pre-operative investigations. A investigation checklist was developed between anaesthetic and surgical staff semi-elective trauma surgery patients, based on NICE guidelines. The recommends which blood, radiology cardiopulmonary tests would be appropriate upon age, ASA grade co-morbidity. Method complete cycle audit used evaluate the checklist. All patients having GA/block in 2-week window included.
